About Livewire Domestic Electrical Solutions

Seeing a clear gap in quality and transparency, I set out to offer honest, reliable electrical services homeowners can trust.

After nearly 15 years of living and working in the area, I've encountered a of tradespeople for various projects. Out of four electricians, only one stood out as truly exceptional The others either delivered mediocre work, charged whimsically, or lacked transparent pricing with a shocking bill at the end. We ended up paying out of necessity rather than trust. It's frustrating when you can't rely on your skilled tradesperson.

Challenging Home Repairs

It’s what pushed me to retrain. I’m now qualified, and I’m still building my skills every day. I focus on the smaller jobs — the repairs and tricky faults. The ones many electricians (especially bigger firms) don’t want because they don’t feel they’re worth the time.

Another reason work gets turned down is pricing. It’s hard to give a fair idea of time — and cost — when you don’t yet know the condition of the wiring in the home. In older houses, the consumer unit can be shoe-horned into a tiny kitchen cupboard. That makes the job harder, and it takes longer to do properly.
